General applications to fluid mechanics

CERG offers its competence in aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, internal flows, head loss or transient flows calculations for fluid networks. Moreover, CERG has an acknowledged competence in cavitation which is a very important phenomenon for hydraulic circuits.

Process engineering

In most industrial processes, fluids have to be canalised, treated, mixed, separated and cooled .... CERG offers its services to analyse and solve these problems thanks to its knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, and its wide experience in the industrial fluid.

Atmospheric environment

In that field, CERG has a sound experience of several years, especially :

- impact and hazard studies,

- ventilation and gas recirculation studies,

- smoke and dust removal studies.

The applications cover polluting industrial plants, train and metro stations, tunnels, ships discharges. CERG takes all these subjects in charge by numerical simulation, or more often by physical simulation using hydraulic similarity.

Noise and vibration

CERG develops a specific competence about noise and vibration problems linked to flows, such as ventilation and circuit noise and fluid-structure interactions.
